نصيحة لمن يقصر في النفقة على أهله

Spending on the family should stem from sincerity. A man is a man because Allāh favoured him and also because he spends. Spending on one's family is what makes a man. However, he should spend in moderation and give them what they need. ”كفى بالمرء إثما أن يضيع من يقوت.“ “It is enough sin for a person to neglect those he provides for.” He should spend on his family; and rely upon Allāh. The best expenditure is the one you spend on your family. Spending on the family is an obligation. Even upon the divorced pregnant woman. And know that: { وَمَاۤ أَنفَقۡتُم مِّن شَیۡءࣲ فَهو یُخۡلِفُهُۥۖ وَهُوَ خَیۡرُ ٱلرَّ ٰزِقِينَ } “And whatsoever you spend of anything (in Allāh’s Cause), He will replace it. And He is the Best of providers.” [Sūrah Sabaʾ: 39]
