Shaykh Rabīʿ ibn Hādī al-Madkhalī (حفظه الله, born 1931) is a prominent Saudi scholar known for his expertise in the Sunnah and the science of Jarḥ wa Taʿdīl (narrator criticism). He served as head of the Sunnah Studies department at the Islamic University of Madinah and has authored extensively on methodology and the refutation of deviant groups.
