Official Transcript (English)

Yes, it is recommended to wipe his head and supplicate for him. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'If you want your heart to become soft, then feed the poor and wipe the head of the orphan.' (Ahmad).

نعم، يستحبُّ مسح رأسه والدُّعاء له، قال النَّبيُّ ﷺ: "إن أردت أن يلين قلبك، فأطعم المسكين، وامسح رأس اليتيم". (أحمد).
