Official Transcript (English)

Yes, it is recommended to take them to those who will supplicate for them. It was narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that newborns used to be brought to her so that she might supplicate to Allah Almighty for blessings upon them. (Al-Jami' of Ibn Wahb).

نعم، يستحبُّ الذَّهاب بهم لمن يدعو لهم بالخير، فعن عائشة -رضي الله عنها- أنَّها كانت تُؤتى بالصِّبيان إذا ولدوا لكي تدعو الله تعالى لهم بالبركة. (الجامع لابن وهب).
