What should we teach the newborn when they first begin to speak?

It is recommended to teach them (La ilaha illa Allah, Muhammad Rasulullah). Ibrahim al-Taymi said: 'They used to recommend that the first thing a child is taught when he begins to speak is to say "La ilaha illa Allah" seven times, so that it is the first thing he utters.' (Musannaf Abd al-Razzaq). Also, Zayn al-Abidin Ali ibn al-Husayn would teach his child to say: 'I believe in Allah and I disbelieve in the Taghut (false deities).' (Ibn Abi Shaybah).
